The formation of Larry Rhymes and Ratio Band came about when a group of talented and ambitious musicians united for the purpose of offering audiences a caliber of entertainment that cannot be found elsewhere in Arizona. They produce music richly-flavored with both seasoned and fresh talent. As the name ‘Ratio’ indicates, the band performs a balanced repertoire of music for their audiences. Their unique ‘Phoenix Design’ consists of a crossover of styles that appeal to R&B, Funk, and Smooth Jazz fans. The combination of the jazzy rock of the lead guitarist or the funky groove of the keyboardist with the unique bass guitar innovations also lead to the creation of Latin and dance tunes. Additional keyboard and vocals add creative layers to all the songs.

Band members include the Lead Bass Guitar, Larry Rhymes; Keyboard Player, Dr. Fish; Lead Guitar, Ralph Carrasco and Vocalist Suzann Rhymes.

At this time, the band regularly performs in a variety of venues that include clubs, restaurants, outdoor concerts, and private and corporate parties. Larry Rhymes and Ratio have built a strong following in the Phoenix area and are grateful to their fans. In the future, the group would not only like to continue writing and publishing music, but to expand their fan base and the arena in which they play by including additional local and national venues.
